Registration form is due now. Please put it in t he mail today if you haven't already.

I know some people are coming that still have not sent registration form. I spoke with XXXX XXXX late yesterday (Friday, June 18) and she said she had not sent her form in. She asked me how registrations are and I replied "fine, except for the people who haven't sent their forms in". She got my point and said she would mail Monday. That is my fear, people are waiting to last minute. Lakewood Country Club wants a guaranteed count on June 26. That means we pay for food for the number of paid registrations we have as of that date. If your form is in, you'll be counted and we'll have food for you.

Event management is not an exact science and is very dependent upon the human element of when people respond with a check to make a firm commitment. Just to say you'll attend and expect to pay at the door does not work. We cannot afford to lose money on this as we have no sponsors and no one with deep pockets to bail us out if we guarantee more than pay in advance. We're simply not going to do do that! You must send your registration form in with payment. Please do so today if you haven't already. Thank you!
